Watercolour Tips & Tricks
Join us to experiment with watercolour. Create 10 sample squares of watercolour experiments. See how watercolour behaves with: salt, rock salt, urea, plastic wrap, wax paper, foil, masking fluid and incised lines and more. Follow up your experiments by creating a watercolour painting using your favourite watercolour tips and tricks.
Course includes all paint and all miscellaneous effect makers to the value of $30.
What to bring:
Watercolour Paper – 3 x A3, or 4 x quarter sheet. Recommended brands: Arches, Saunders Waterford, Art Spectrum. 300 gsm preferred.
Brushes - Medium round brush, small dagger brush, medium hake brush & an old small brush for painting masking fluid.
Miscellaneous - Masking tape, pencil, rubber, masking fluid, support boards (to tape your paper onto), tissues, 2 x water containers, round palette, old towel (to collect water run-off), spray bottle & Stanley knife.
